When the school opened its doors in August of 2004, it was all about the firsts. The first touchdown, the first home run, the first basket, the first goal and the first win. And since the school’s opening, athletes and teams have contributed to a decade of athletic excellence. Over the years, records were set and broken and set again, but through changing coaches and graduating athletes, many records have also been misplaced. Some of the original coaches have left the school and others have even left the state, such as the school’s first football coach, Rex Sponholtz, and the women’s basketball coach, Dan Corbin. It has been nearly impossible to collect all of the records from the last 10 years, but what you see here represents some of the athletic successes in the school’s brief history.
