Last week we left on Nick’s tearful speech to the girls on how he thinks he still won’t be able to find love. This man is finally figuring out what’s going on, it’s a game show, after all! Nick almost quits but then has a heart-to-heart and reveals that he could never quit on his six girlfriends. In lieu of a rose ceremony the clan travels to Bimini, an island literally no one has heard of.
Vanessa gets the date card, and Corinne throws a tantrum. Shocker. On the date, the two talk about their feelings, leading to Vanessa believe that Nick is something out of a fairy tale. Somehow they also manage to make-out underwater while snorkeling, which definitely requires some skill. I can guarantee that I would’ve drowned. Back at the cottage, the girls find out there’s a three-on-one with Corinne, Raven, and Kristina. You can almost see Corinne lose her mind. Vanessa and Nick’s date gets awkward as she confides that she is starting to fall in love with him. How gross. Nick however does not outright say he is feels same and basically beats around the bush.
The three-on-one is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever watched. Nick rubs the girls with sunscreen — on their inner thighs. Watching this makes me cringe right out of my skin, let alone being a girl on this date and having to actually watch Nick do this. For this group date the girls and “fearless” Nick go snorkeling with sharks. No way man. Kristina freaks out after seeing a shark, leaving Corinne annoyed once again. Once they dry off at the cocktail party, Kristina and Nick cry together and share their…feelings. Raven gets the rose, (which is surprising) locking in the first spot on the hometown dates next week.
Danielle takes the next one-on-one. She and Nick ride bikes and invade some local kids basketball game. The pair seems to have almost no chemistry at all. They go long periods with no talking, and when they do speak, Nick says some mumbo-jumbo about “catapulting the relationship,” whatever that means. After Danielle opens up to Nick, he sends her home. Nick has pulled this act almost every week now. I honestly think he is afraid of falling in love.
Corinne has officially lost it. This girl goes to Nick’s hotel room with every intention of having sex with him. Yep, thats right. Nick again proves me right in that he falls for it, at least temporarily. Until he stops her, citing the relationship is too important for the immediate launch to sex. I’m shook to say the least. Corinne’s plans for once have backfired and this could very well be her ticket home.
Rachel gets the final date before hometowns, and Nick takes her to a “local” bar that has definitely seen better days. Their chemistry is definitely real, but Rachel is way too good for boring old Nick.
From this week’s episode we think we know who is going home, the obvious choice being Corinne. Nick throws us a major curve ball. Kristina will not be joining the final four in the hometown dates. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.
