Last week we left on the “whore-endous” pool party where Corinne and Nick just about had sex in a princess bouncy castle. This left the women doubtful of Nick and Corinne — and rightfully so. Vanessa calls this fool out, so we can only hope that this will actually spark a change in our terrible choice of a bachelor.
Later at the rose ceremony we saw more tears from girls who were definitely going home, and shockingly enough, Corinne made it through another week. It is now safe to assume that Nick is a 36-year-old child. How could he possibly think it would be smart to have Corinne stay another week? I mean, we all love to hate her, but this must be a ploy by the producers.
This week the girls are finally traveling, and to the most exciting place on Earth: Milwaukee, Wisconsin — otherwise known as Nick’s hometown. It’s no wonder he’s so interesting (not). Nick takes Danielle on a date to walk around scenic Milwaukee and visit places where Nick was first dumped as an 11-year-old. How romantic. The two also visited a local bakery and ate ice cookies together, but not before running into an ex of Nick’s. This couldn’t get more awkward or uncomfortable.
Danielle shows a more human side of herself to the plastic Ken doll, opening up about her parents’ divorce and how she doesn’t want to rush into a relationship. That, however, is inevitable on this show.
During the group date the girls venture to a farm, where Nick pretends to know how to feed a baby cow. Like, come on — we know you’ve never worked on a farm a day in your life. Throughout the entire date Corinne complains about the poop and everything in between, angering all of the girls.
To add fuel to the fire, Corinne addresses the women on how they’re all in this together, as if this was “High School Musical.” In return, the other girls roast her, Kristina in particular calling her out for not attending the rose ceremony. Corinne rebutted with a claim that she had a “panic attack.”
Nick then proceeds to take Raven all over his hometown and they partake in a slew of activities, including playing soccer with Nick’s 11-year-old sister, meeting his parents, and rollerskating with the entire soccer team. I hate to admit it, but Raven and Nick actually made rollerskating look really fun.
At the rose ceremony Taylor showed her true colors, being just as passive aggressive as Corinne. The two then launched into a verbal attack at each other, basically talking themselves in circles. We are then greeted by a “To Be Continued” screen, leaving us on the edge of our seats for the next episode. It can’t come soon enough.
